Hello Alex, can you tell us a little about yourself?

Hi! I’m Alex and I’m the newest member of the Magic Freebies team. I love a good bargain and can’t wait to share my finds with you all.

What is your role at Magic Freebies?

As a Content Editor, I am constantly on the hunt to find great freebies and deals to help everyone save a bit of money. Give me a follow on Twitter (@alex_freebies) and come and say hi!

What is your favourite part about freebie hunting?

I love it when one of my favourite beauty brands offer a freebie or a sample. I know that I can trust the quality, and it saves me buying a full-sized bottle before committing to the product! 

What is the best freebie you've ever received?

I recently found out that if you trade in six empty MAC beauty containers you receive a full-sized lipstick or eyeshadow for absolutely free! I went for bright red lipstick 'Ruby Woo' - it's blue undertones even counteract any yellowness in your teeth. I also once got a free Iced Frappe drink from Hotel Chocolat - they're worth £3.95 and was delicious. 

What is your kryptonite when it comes to spending?

I love going out for food, but this can be really expensive! I am always on the hunt for top restaurant deals and offers.

Do you have any top tips for new freebie finders?

Create a separate 'freebie finder' email to your usual one. That way, you can keep all your finds in one place and apart from your work/everyday emails.
