Tully Castle | County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland
Tully Castle was a fortified house, built for Sir John Hume and occupied until 1641. The residents were victim to an attack on Christmas Eve in 1641 and the house was never lived in again. There's plenty of dramatic history to explore here!
Not only is it free to explore the castle ruins, but there's also a visitor centre on-site with more information. Inside you'll find an exhibition exploring local stories relating to the castle.
Be aware before you visit that parking charges may apply, although the site itself it free to enter.
