Tewkesbury Abbey | Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
If you love stunning architecture and interesting historical sites, then you'll love Tewkesbury Abbey!
The Abbey used to be a Benedictine monastery, but it is now used as a parish church. It was first built in 1121, but has had to undergo many re-buildings over the years, due to fires, war and general disrepair.
You can visit the Abbey all year-round, from 10am- 1pm everyday. Entry is completely free, although donations are welcome.
Make sure you pay a visit to The Touching Souls Tearoom, and the Abbey gift shop for the full experience.
