The Story of Torfaen explores the history of the surrounding county. There are also many seasonal events on offer, covering the arts, an extensive library which features local content and a world famous collection of Pontypool Japanware.
If you get tired whilst looking around, the museum tea room offers light refreshments.
It's rare to see such a variety of historic artifacts in such a pretty setting. Make sure Pontypool Museum is at the top of your places to visit - it makes a great, cheap day out for the whole family!
