Based in the lovely, history market town of Market Harborough, Harborough Museum is a must-see for anyone visiting the area.
The museum will transport you back in time, celebrating Market Harborough's long history as a centre of trade and industry. Regular displays include the Falkner's Boot and Shoe Making Workshop and 17th century toys found in a local church.
There are lots of treasure coins and a unique 1st century Roman cavalry helmet, which is also worth a look. There's something for the whole family!
Entry is free for both adults and children and opening times are Tuesday to Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. There's lots to see and do so make sure you drop in and check out this fabulous little corner of history.
