Great North Museum: Hancock | Newcastle

The Great North Museum: Hancock is a museum of natural history based in Newcastle. It was established in 1884 and incorporates collections from the Hancock Museum, Newcastle University's Museum of Antiquities, the Shefton Museum and the Hatton Gallery.

One of the highlights is a large-scale, interactive model of Hadrian's Wall. The little ones (and big ones!) will be enthralled by the collections showing the wonder and diversity of the animal and plant kingdoms, and spectacular objects from Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt.
