Free Access to Hampton Court Gardens
This could be a great little summer day trip. The world-famous gardens of Hampton Court Palace include 60 acres of spectacular formal gardens and 750 acres (304 hectares) of parkland, all set within a loop of the River Thames.
There's plenty to see in the garden, and it's perfect to bring your kids to too.
The Palace Gardens will be open free of charge on:

- 22 March and 23 March 2025
- 10 May and 11 May 2025
- 01 July to 06 July 2025
- 13 September to 14 September 2025
- 18 October to 19 October 2025
- 22 November to 23 November 2025
- 26 December 2025 (The Wilderness garden only)
