Druid's Temple | Ripon, Yorkshire
This is one for all you history buffs! If you don't fancy trekking to Stonehenge to see this famous wonder of the world, then why not check out Yorkshire's very own Druid's Temple?
This fabulous structure was built way back in 1820 to keep workers busy during a terrible depression. Sir William Danby, who commissioned the construction is said to have hired a hermit to live in the temple! The successful candidate was supposed to live there for seven years but only managed it for four.
The temple is set amongst beautiful woodland, so it's a great opportunity to immerse yourself in nature whilst taking in this piece of history.
