Custom House Visitor Centre | Exeter
The Custom House was built in 1680 and it was built to be operated by HM Customs, which it was until 1989. Now you can visit the house as a tourist spot!
You can visit and learn about the house through a free Red Coat Guided Tour, or you can simply pop in on your own to take a look around and pick up some touristy resources.
Inside you'll find displays and artefacts and the chance to enjoy the audio-visual presentation about Exeter's 2,000 years of history.
The house is open from:
April - October
Daily: 10.00am to 5.00pm
Closed for lunch 1pm - 1.45pm
November - March
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 11.00am to 4.00pm
Concessions: Free entry
