How To Get a FREE Christmas Letter from Santa
Editor's note: this blog post was originally written in 2014 and has since been updated. Enjoy!
You can get a free Christmas Letter from Santa all the way from the North Pole!
The end of the year is a very busy time for Santa.
The elves are making all the toys, working long days and into the nights to make sure your presents arrive on time. Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer are preparing for their long journey, deciding what snacks to take and brushing up on their navigational skills.
Santa has been choosing all the wrapping paper for the year and Mrs Claus has been scolding him to eat less of the mince pies left out for him (as last year he may have put on a little extra weight).
Even though the North Pole is very far away, you can still write a Christmas Letter or Card to Santa - he loves to hear from you!

Charity Letters from Santa
In the fun, festive period it is important to remember those less fortunate. Donation letters from Santa (with proceeds going towards a charity) are a great way for your little ones to get excited about Christmas, as well as thinking of those less fortunate than themselves.
National Society for the Protection of Children (NSPCC)
Each year, the NSPCC runs a Letter from Santa scheme, where your little one can receive a letter from Father Christmas for a suggested donation fee of £5. This money makes a huge difference to the charity and helps children across the UK have a magical Christmas. Letters are personalised for each child making this a really unique treat for your child.
Royal National Institue of Blind People (RNIB)
The RNIB run a similar program, where blind and partially sighted children can receive letters from Santa in their preferred format. The elves and fairies at the RNIB love making sure that Santa gets in touch with all children, so they help Santa send out replies in braille (contracted or uncontracted), large print or as an audio CD.

The closing date for letters is Saturday 1st December, so make sure yours is in before then to avoid disappointment.
While there is no cost for you to receive a letter from Santa, please help the RNIB to continue their work by making a donation. For more information take a look at the Letter from Santa page on their website.
East Anglia's Children Hospices (EACH)
EACH also run an annual scheme where children can receive a personalised letter from Santa, as well as a Christmas activity for them to complete, for a minimum donation of £5. Each donation will help to provide care and support to life-threatened children, young people and their families across East Anglia.
