Meet Collette, our new Freebie Hunter!
Hello Collette, can you tell us a little about yourself?
Hello there. My name's Collette, I'm originally from Manchester and I'm the latest member to join team Magic Freebies UK. I love finding freebies and bargains and am excited to share my latest hauls with you all.
What is your role at Magic Freebies?
I'm a Content Editor so it's my job to help find top freebie deals for our followers and make sure all the T&Cs are clear to ensure they are getting the best deals. I'm also a massive fan of Instagram and Pinterest so keep an eye on our pages for freebie updates and the latest money-saving hacks from me.
What is your favourite part about freebie hunting?
My favourite part about freebie hunting is finding amazing cash back deals and vouchers for restaurants. It's so difficult to afford eating out all the time as well as handling bills and making big purchases, so vouchers and cash back offers really help. Any free day out I can find is a bonus too!
What is the best freebie you've ever received?
I think a top one for me was a sample of Clinique's Anti-Blemish Foundation. I have sensitive skin and being quite pale I've always had struggled with finding foundation but this was amazing and matched my skin tone perfectly. I now save all my pennies to stay loyal to the product. I also recently received one of those soap powder scoopers, something I would have never even thought about buying, but has been invaluable in terms of making my soap powder last longer!
What is your kryptonite when it comes to spending?
I have a weakness for fancy magazines (which contain all the best freebies, keep checking our freebies from magazines section!) and I drink way too much tea and coffee so I'm always hunting for the places with the best offers to grab a hot beverage.
Do you have any top tips for new freebie finders?
One tip for new freebie finders is to watch out what you're applying for and don't get spammed or added to any annoying call centre lists, not all sites are genuine like ours. Also don't be greedy, there’s no point in applying for something just because it's free if you're never going to use it. Save it for someone who can get real value from it.
Thanks Collette, we look forward to your finds!
